I'm old and and I know pop tarts are horrible for you, nutrition wise, but I sure did love them when they were invented!! One every few years, now, fills that void!!

having a raging sweet tooth for most of my life means i've consumed my fair share of those and probably will always have a soft-spot for the strawberry frosted ones. i mean, i remember when they first were only plain and then they had the frosted ones... oooh boy! :)

Good Morning all! 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️ Sorry very sorry there is no hot and ready coffee once again this AM. I'm making it by the cup so it doesn't go to waste seeing how FH is very rarely drinking hot coffee these days. Yup I'm :hide:hide:hide from all you coffee zombies because of it.
Another reason why I'm making it by the cup is so I can cut down on my caffeine/sugar intake during the day, trying to have 2 cups/day and that's all (1 when I first get up with liquid creamer and a 2nd after FH leaves for work with powdered creamer and 1/2 tsp of sugar) then drink water, green tea (11AM), water then have a soda during dinner. I'm also trying to cut down on how much food I eat during the day. Yes, I know it's okay to splurge every once in awhile but every once in awhile turns into everyday (sometimes2-3Xs/day for me). I need to get rid of this weight around my middle along with my backside. I know I know walking does wonders and I have no excuse not to go walking except for right now until after my appointment with the allergy specialist on the 13th seeing how I can't take no allergy med until after that.

@flowerbug I'm right there with you on having a raging sweet tooth and YUP I've consumed my fair share of them except for the (frosted) strawberry. Those are definitely a NO GO for me. That's another reason why I'm going to the allergist is to find out for sure if I'm really allergic to strawberries seeing how I know when I was a kid (many many many moons ago that was) I was told I was and that's what I grew up thinking.

I have a big pot of coffee! I woke up at 3:30. That sucks. I would like to sleep until at least 5. Back on the roof this morning, I hope to finish the radiant heat barrier and 2x4 lath. Yesterday I ran the drill batteries down and had to quit. Since it was scorching hot and 12 noon, getting off the roof seemed like a good idea. I’d like to be done today, but I won’t push past my limits of endurance.

Coffee is ready! I ran out of deck screws yesterday on the last two strips of 2x4s. Got another box yesterday, gonna finish up this morning. I got the 2x4s placed and secured with a screw at each end, so will be easy to get screws into the rafters. Metal on Saturday and I’ll have a roof!
Get this-I was expecting a discount on my insurance, but that didn’t happen. No, instead insurance went up! The roof makes this doublwide more valuable! I just can’t win.

We can all expect house insurance to go up as the companies will raise rates to pay for their losses in Cali and The east coast. Insurance companies never lose money except when they pay their people too much. Banks & government require it at any cost -so a license to steal.

Banks, Insurance, and Mutual Fund Investment companies -- I understand that they have a place at the table but not at my kitchen table ;).

DW must have thought that California would have Honeycrisp apples coming off the trees right now 🙄 . They are her favorites and she bought a half dozen ... I peeled, chopped, mixed with raisins, and baked one. Takes me right back to 6 months ago! Maybe that is better than jumping 6 months aheaaaddd¿

Anywho ... there are 3 kinds of Spring berries in the fridge if you want something else with your bowl of Wheat Chex ;).

Early morning run to the airport as a favor. Best get that 2nd load of laundry on the line 🙃

I would but if the berries are touching each other I don't dare especially if one of them there berries is strawberries and can I have Honey Nut Cheerios instead of Wheat Chex?
This makes my 2nd time of being up. I was originally up at 12:45AM had to see FH off to work this AM. By this time him and his coworkers should be in Maryland starting on the job.
Got all laundry done yesterday, swept all the floors, picked up dog toys for the 100th time put them in the "toy wheel" (FH has an old NASCAR tire he was gifted years ago that we use for the dog toys) just so Savage could get them all out again and I had to re pick them up. I tell ya he's worse than a very spoiled 2 yr old especially when his favorite toy had to be washed (it's a backpack from BARK Box that was given to us) and dried before he could carry it around while he was squeaking it. It's not funny but it's funny seeing how he'll constantly do that while FH is trying to watch TV until he pays Savage attention.

I have a new habit, get up 2 or 3 or 4AM to let Pyg and Eva out, then I leave them outside in the front (where the steps are easier for Pyg), and start the coffee, which has a timer so it brews at 5:45AM.
I go back to bed and the "maid" has "made" the coffee For me.
This morning I had 3 pieces of Sunday leftover pizza with my coffee.
