What is the "fluff" part? I never heard of that on a sandwich!

It's the best on sandwiches besides PEANUT BUTTER and BANANAS!!!! Sometimes people will use it for an ice cream topping. My favorite ice cream is Chocolate/Vanilla TWIST and Choc Chip cookie dough.

All the coffee fixings is right next to the coffee pot so brew a cup then let the smell of it wake you up while sipping it to make it last longer. I'm going on my 2nd cup seeing how I've been up since 1:45 (I startled myself awake at that time by thinking I hadn't set my alarm so it was way later than it was plus Savage decided I needed to take him potty even guess who is back to sleep right now). Yup, when FH leaves around 4:30 I'm probably going to curl up on the couch and take a nap but who knows I may just stay up.
I can't believe we are in our final days of August already and heading towards September NINTH MONTH of the year. It seems just like yesterday I was awaiting for it to announce SPRING IS HERE and now it's going into Autumn and Halloween then it will be Thanksgiving then WINTER which comes Christmas and New Years. I know I'm looking forward to either Oct 20 or 21 seeing how I'm going to Amelia Frightfest to see the original Jeepers Creepers truck (from the first movie) which is making a special guest appearance on those two days. Nope, FH isn't going with me seeing how he doesn't like movies like that.

TheMan got bulk of my project done yesterday. Today we gotta run to town for food and meds. After this summer I have a better idea of what we need in the garden.
This place COULD be like my own little Eden if I plan and can execute it right ❤️ We’ve got raspberries, blackberries, apricots, apples and peaches that will require minimal work, then the garden and FLOWERS (high on my priority list. They don’t feed our belly but they surely feed my soul) and my critters (just below flowers in my list, and COFFEE, running an exciting race from 3rd to 1st on the list, depending on when my last cup was…

I guess Fluff is the same thing then as marshmallow creme? I love that stuff! I used to make "Fantasy Fudge" using marshmallow creme!

... oh, oh you mean the ice cream!!

When I flew into NYC in 1944 the guy down there with the handcart on the corner had some blueberry -- really tasty!

(Actually, it was nearly 30 years later than that and I arrived over the George Washington Bridge ;).)

Coffee is ready. I just woke up 30 minutes ago. I’m tired and have sore muscles from the past 3 days of working outside. I’ve got to go get a fuse for the truck today, fill it up and be ready to take lambs to auction on Saturday. Not working outside today.

Everything is set right there beside the coffee pot so make a cup and wake up to a beautiful day. It's only 64 right now, cloudy and breezy so perfect morning to enjoy the patio.
I don't know about the rest of you but I think we're going to have an early FALL (and I'll prove it the next time I'm out and about). The leaves in my area are already starting to change!! Thankfully the BBQ we are having on Sunday is the last one for the summer even though we will get together throughout the rest of the year but no more BBQs.

Good Morning.

Granola and Crenshaw melon for a second breakfast. There was oatmeal with raisins for the first. A pattern there. Coffee on the way!

Stopped at a hardware store for an new impulse sprinkler and a couple of pvc fittings to hold things together. They had one and not the other fitting. May decide to drive miles and miles for a 75¢ piece of plastic. Told the hardware guy that it was okay. First good rain after all the heat and I'm out after sprinkler parts.

Ssoooo, I don't need a second running of irrigation this week and the cooler afternoons are allowing me to not feel guilty about never having the water on 3X/week.

No way are we out of drought conditions. And, why it is only considered "moderate" I have no clue. Fortunately, most of the recent rain fell north of here (1"+) and that should help for the wildfires and moderate a little of the extreme drought conditions in those areas, even if it is only briefly.

We have had a first frost in the garden by this date in a couple of previous years. Won't happen real soon in '23.

Steve
