Whatever you need for your morning wake up hug in a mug brew is right next to the coffee pot no matter if it's coffee, tea (sorry nothing fancy here just black tea) or Hot Chocolate. There's also LOTS of sweets next to the stove but also some sort of breakfast thingy I threw together for FH to take with him to his safety course/class yesterday but he wouldn't take it. The breakfast thingy goes like this: Preheat oven to 375, lay 6 burrito size soft tortilla wraps on sheet pan (make sure they overlap each other and over hang the pan), put a layer of shredded cheese ( I used 4 cheese Mexican blend [leftover from Taco night], cook a pkg of bacon ( I used a pair of kitchen scissors to cut in 1/2 before removing plastic wrapper) DRAIN and COOL slightly, while bacon is cooling, make and cook scrambled eggs, put bacon on cheese layer, spread scrambled eggs once fully cooked on bacon, I did another of cheese but used slices instead of shredded, lay a couple smaller size soft tortilla wraps down the center then fold the bigger ones (might have to press a little hard to get them to stay folded), spray with BUTTER flavor cooking spray or use regular melted butter, put in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until LIGHT golden brown. Remove from oven let cool a couple minutes then cut and serve. I know I know it doesn't seem like its a quick, easy recipe but actually is.
FH is NOW VDot certified for traffic control, has to carry a manual with him at all times. It was only him and 7 others that the BIG BOSS hand picked from his 2 milling/paving crews. FH kept saying "WE have a safety course on Sat" so I kept saying "YUP, I can do traffic control because I would rock the HIVI outfits, hold a sign and look pretty". He laughed about it and said "NO YOU ARE NOT DOING TRAFFIC CONTROL because other drivers are #$$holes". I guess he forgot how much of a QUEEN B :duc:somad:rant I can be at times :gig.
@baymule I sent that storm to you so you're welcome.
That breakfast "thingy" sounds amazing! 😋

I have been slowly drinking coffee and sewing making another rag quilt. I am trying to finish it today and start on another one. I have been sewing and helping DD with kids, going to the park, going shopping and then I may just now have recovered from a trip to Joann's with DD and kids. She picked the fabric for jackets I am getting ready to make for them. I am not sure how long we were in Joann's, but it was so bad that I did not tell her I was going to go back and get fleece for robes I am going to make for Christmas presents. I think she was really disappointed she did not get to go. LOL Not much gardening going on. I am still picking beans and Evelyn and Izzy helped me one morning pick beans. The neighbor had a visitor and saw all my tomatoes that I was not getting all picked and I told her she could have what she wanted, so she picked tomatoes and took squash to the food bank. I brought some zucchini in last night for supper and we had BLT's the other night when my brother came over. I am cleaning a little here and there pulling and I hope to get things cleared out before the ground freezes or snows.

Well I really don't like the taste of the coffee I've been drinking but it does camofloge the taste of the unflavored collagen.

I've decided that I like coffee with chocolate and nuts overtones. Now to find one with those overtones will be a challegen. There are so many coffee companies out there. We have Peet's in the East bay and they had one but I didn't like it. I really don't want to go to the coffee shop each day to try a different one. Heck that can get expensive! But maybe I'll go in and talk to someone but they are always so busy. Oh well, I guess I'll have to stick with google.

Any one of you know what I can try that's nutty and chocolatey?

Mary
