Thistle, read what I quoted.

I object to people forcing me to wear masks, stay away from work, etc admit it, those that are, are afraid of catching the virus (afraid another word for scared).

I don't know the people forcing Seed to wear a mask. I don't know the individual personalities are or what their motivations are. To me the only way I can admit they are scared and afraid is to admit that anyone that wants him or anyone else to wear a mask to do any of those things are scared and afraid. To me, that is real close to the definition of a coward.

My thoughts on the media are not real flattering. That includes CNN, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, and many others. The only agenda I can speak to is mine. That is to reduce immediate death and suffering, buying time to better learn how to manage this virus so future death and suffering are reduced..

Then stay home and allow the rest of us to live our lives. Stop trying to tell us how to live. You really need to listen to your own words and look into mirror. I am done responding to you on this subject.

i actually am quite happy to stay home as much as i can, but when i go out now i don't have a problem wearing a mask, i also don't have to have a tantrum about it or complain about my rights being violated - i understand the difference between public and private.

you keep bringing up the topic every chance you get. you don't like what you hear in response.

the accusations you keep making are wrong. a lot of the information you post is wrong. you're not any kind of authority worth listening to on the topic as far as i'm concerned.

your freedom ends where it puts others at risk. that is a law that is common in many societies. i think it is common sense and worth understanding. when living in a society there are times when you have to do things which make it possible to do things with others which means you may have to change your own behavior.

common sense also says that people should wash their hands after using the bathroom. does that offend you too? am i making you not live your life as you wish by pointing out that poop on your hands can spread diseases?

do you think that Typhoid Mary should not have been incarcerated?

I'm not the one making drama, I'm trying to avoid it, hence the corner joke.
I don't care if people wear masks, gloves, super hero capes or anything else they care to put on. Do what you think you need to.

Being self righteously smug and claiming the moral high ground over something that I'm not convinced makes a difference and that is being forced on everyone, to the point of being arrested - that's what I find repugnant.

Being lied to constantly (national media) so nobody knows what or who to believe anymore, yeah, that's pretty repulsive too.

i don't consume national media constantly. i read a few news articles here or there but i avoid the common channels a lot of people seem to dwell on because after some years i've noticed that the type of people who watch a lot of them are the type of people i'd rather not be around. i found out many years ago that certain media outlets are indeed repugnant. perhaps you need to stop consuming them yourself as you seem really upset by what they are dishing out? i know what to believe and am capable of exercising discernment. i am not always right, but i'm doing ok. i'm not upset or dismayed or afraid. i find repeated statements that i am afraid when i'm not to be pretty annoying so i point out to people that they're being annoying by making such claims. i'm not smug.

when you go to the bathroom you wash your hands? that's common sense to me. there are laws and regulations about that. those are not restricting your rights to live your life.

While I'm on roll of getting people mad I'll state something that I consider obvious but a lot of people probably won't agree with. I believe that enough (not all and I don't know what enough is, the numbers will tell us that) people wear masks and practice reasonable social distancing, and people that know they have it practice self-quarantine the economy could open back up. Not like it was but much better than it is now. Kids could go to school. To me, the people that won't wear a mask and won't practice responsible social distancing are making it a lot worse than it has to be.

I also believe that with human nature that is not likely to happen so the arguments and the virus will go in and on and on.

the state of MI was doing well in bringing the number of cases down, but as soon as they allowed bars/clubs to open back up and people started having large parties again it's gone rapidly downhill.

who would think that alcohol and irresponsible behavior would ever coincide!?!?

Well Crap, this is getting too close for comfort. DH went to a funeral visitation, I stayed away! He and everyone wore masks, after shaking hands he used the sanitizer he carries before driving home. Only to find out today the autopsy came back that he had Covid and his wife has tested positive. He did not see her, so she may have stayed home. His kids had not seen him for weeks , yet will get tested ASAP. So now we wait and hope they all are negative. Grrr .... I was going to leave on vacation with Sis in a few days. Thinking to post pone or cancel just to be safe. :(

@flowerbug and @Ridgerunner I feel the, IA was doing pretty good then lifted almost all restriction, numbers are going up FAST ! Those that refuse to help by simply wearing the mask and social distancing are making this drag on.... reminds me of the kid that won't be quite or stand still and all the kids miss recess because of his/her behavior.

As for me, not mad. Just respectfully disagree. Blame me all anyone wants but I’m negative passing no Covid on. I’m at risk but I place no one else at risk.
Side note, all scientists believe it will go on & on& on because it mutates. Just like the flu goes on & on & on. Different strain, same result.
