Christmas 2012 002.JPG I got this woodstove on CL in 2011. I had been looking every day for months to find a good stove that was affordable for us. I called on this one about 20 minutes after it was posted, and my husband and I left immediately to go get it.
It was over an hour away out in the boonies. It was November and the roads were snowy and it was dark.
We finally got there, loaded it up (dh and the seller nearly got a hernia, this little guy
weighs around 400 pounds ) and came home rejoicing!

New this stove would have been $2400, but we got it for $400.
The sellers had planned on using it in a remodel, but the remodel never happened and they had just been storing it in their garage for 20 years. We're so glad they decided to sell it, we love it!

I forgot to mention that this stove had never been used, it was still brand new and pristine inside. :)

Last night I bought 2 cashmere sweaters in like new condition for $1 each! Also bought a hoodie for $1 that I needed badly to wear to the gym since my last one was so old and had a big ole ink mark in the front! My husband just shakes his head and says "Why don't you just go out and buy what you need new?" "You don't have to be buying used clothes". Haha, he doesn't understand the thrill of getting a great deal! :D
