Red you might want to move the easel into the house. Enlarge a favorite family photo, frame it nicely and display. Very chic

I don't know what it costs to feed them these days (you will need very good fences or they will escape ) , but the ostrich and emu meat sure tastes GOOD .

NyBoy, did you know that birds native to the United States cannot be used in motion pictures? It is not legal to do so.
To make realistic films, the industry must find a bird fancier who has an aviary with birds which appear similar to the species we are all familiar with.
Some of these are likely to be quite common, like a crow. For cinematic purposes, perhaps a Corvus jamaicensis, for example, could be found rather than a Corvus species from the US.

We were down at the lower ranch, there was the biggest hawk I've ever seen. It was the size on an eagle, don't know of an eagle that is brown and white. I guess he was shopping for rabbits. Wasn't able to get a picture.
I guess it is an eagle. They're calling this a Golden Eagle....But Golden Eagles up in the mountains are the color of a Rhode Island Red chicken.
The White under his rump and under the wings are not present in the Golden Eagles I've seen.
