Alright, I hope your ready for pictures? Remember don't judge some things are a work in progress and I am on injured reserve presently so cut me some slack LOL.
Lets begin with my garden. My cabbage is doing nicely, mulching it was such a great suggestion by @Nyboy that this will be done every year well and my tomato's too.

I've been munching on the peas already as well as my Grandson.

I did spend some more time pulling weeds today, if I only owned a tiller! :barnie I borrow my neighbors but I don't like to borrow it too often and be a pest. I will get one soon..
My Zucchini should be ready for picking by this weekend! So excited..

Don't mind some of us smart alecks, @CrazyFeathers. Those of us who are very literal read posts differently than "normal" people do. Any teasing is in the most caring way possible.

I'll let CrazyFeathers discuss her grandson's sweetness, Thistle, but any munchkin who eats peas is A-okay in my book.

I don't know how many pictures I can add per post so I am going to separate them.
This one is just a question. What is the true name of this flower?
She called them Pot of Gold. Thanks

Pond - Another work in progress! We still need rocks, mulch, and plants but it will get there.
Here's my Wonderful Hubby breaking ground with the neighbors tractor.

Here is a picture after the recent add on, I say it looks like a "weeble" (Weebles wobble but they don't fall down) lol

We need to get fill for that back as it is very wet, like I said work in progress.

Since we sit there in the afternoons/evenings we had to add some décor. I make the tin can flowers and also the milk can decoration which was simple just paint, a sticker, and clear coat.

This was our first trial fountain which the cord was too short so we modified it tonight and got it to the middle of the pond. I am sure we will continuously be tinkering with it. My husband says what about lights and fan sprays so on and so on, it sounds nice and the ducklings like to play in the splashing water.

I am not sure, (someone will be) but they look like evening primroses to me. I have some sitting in a bucket waiting to be planted in their forever home. Just got the site raked and ready today.

Like the photos, love the pond! Can't wait to see it develop. I always told my DH I'd sell my soul for 40 acres and water. My soul is safe. We ended up with 30 acres and a small pre-formed pond. I still drool at the thought of a real pond, though.
