The pond is missing "rocks", found oodles of them but every farmers field around here is way to wet to get in there and get some, probably for the best. We would like to make a water feature since that is where we relax now instead of near the chickens. I have a question: Is there a certain way I should divide my peony's? I have a monster and all of the flowers are on the ground and I am even using a stand to help support the weight. Is there a best time of the year to divide it? Thanks in advance.

Got almost all of the yellow irises out of the garden today, planted a few flowers and weeded I'd say it's coming along nicely.

Well @Nyboy that is what I strive for! Nothing I love more than a freshly mowed, weed whacked, clean lawn. I appreciate the compliment.

Thanks @Carol Dee. There is nothing cuter than when Midnight brings out those wee babies and they are rolling in the mud or tusseling with each other. They are the smallest piglets we have had, besides runts, but healthy.
Jaya' s garden is coming along nicely, I'd like to find some plastic letters to make a wind chime out of her name and adorn it with little girls trinkets but due to the fact I hardly ever leave home I am not sure where to look, I guess there's always the internet.

We extended our pond this weekend. My husband borrows the neighbors tractor, which we are very grateful for, whenever we/he needs it. Today he was putting some fill around the edge of the pond and KLANG, hydraulic line broke. A quick trip to fleet farm and 20.00 later it was fixed. I'm thankful it wasn't a more serious breakdown. I imagine next weekend we will be collecting rocks, for a waterfall, and adding more mulch. The ducks are very happy and Pork Chop loves to roll around in the mud at the shallow parts in the pond.
I removed the rest of radishes today and planted some sweet corn in that row. I ate some of the smaller radishes but the majority of them were large and cracked so the chickens, rabbits, and goats got a snack. I ate some peas out of the garden today too, tomorrow I will cut some lettuce. Yum...
