I have never sued anyone in my like. However, Dew, you are a perfect example of someone who should get a lawyer and get compensation. You do not know what the future holds for you. I have 2 nephews who live in chronic pain, one unable to work, they other suffers along and works. They are both in their 40's. Thats a long haul without a normally functioning life. I hope you feel better soon.

@catjac1975 I do work but not the long shifts. I wouldnt be able to move if I did work the 8 hr shifts. I have tried.... I do have a lawyer.... if you want to call him that. He is "supposed" to be good at these kinds of cases.... Guess we will find out.
I'm not looking forward to surgery but if that's what I have to do, then I will.... but would rather not.
I'm hoping my chiropractor is good enough to keep me off the operating table. I've heard too many stories of people going threw with the surgery and not getting any relief.
I just want to get better and have a normal life again

Well, I have been given some bad news. I went to a neurosurgeon on May 25th and he said I have to have surgery on my neck for 2 herniated disks. Not sure when this going to happen. I will keep every one posted on that when I know more

I'm sure everything will be fine. They are doing a microsurgery. I will have to stay over night at the hospital. Only thing I'm worried about is MontyJ not wanting to go home. I hope he does because I will more than likely be sleeping all day.

Are the herniated discs a result of the wreck? And is the neurosurgeon sure that is what is causing your pain?
I ask because some people live with herniated discs and they are not in undue pain. Some people don't realize they have herniated discs until a surgeon tells them.
I agree with catjac about the second opinion, just to be on the safe side.

I had a herniated disc once. I got physical therapy and it worked. I have absolutely no pain whatsoever.

Not positively sure what is causing my pain, but I can tell you physical therapy is not working. I've had two rounds of P. T. and even been put in traction. Nothing is relieving the pain. I do know that the disks are the cause of the accident. I never had any problems until after the accident. I've been shown the MRI and I'll tell you this, I don't believe herniated disks are supposed to be pinching the spinal cord cutting off blood flow.
The neurosurgeon is good at what he does and said he can fix me with very micro surgery.
Some people can do p. t. and be fine apparently I need more than that.
I'm not worrying about a second opinion because I can trust what this Dr has told me. He is working at one of the best hospitals around my area. Pittsburgh.
