Went to the neurologist the other day. He said I am still suffering from symptoms of a concussion from the accident. He gave me two new medications, one for my head aches and one for my neck and shoulder. Tuesday I go for an MRI. then see a specialist for y shoulder.

Good Grief Dew, I sure hope they get to the root of our troubles and relief is on the way.

Thanks everyone. The new medicines seem to be helping. :D At least I can get some sleep and not have to sleep in the recliner to get relief.

It's been a while since I have posted in this thread. I will give everyone an up date on my progress.

I have been released to go back to work for now. I have had a few tests done but it took a while to get them approved, or what ever needed done. I had two MRI's done about 2 two weeks ago. One on my neck and one on my lower back.
My lower back is "normal" so they say, but my neck shows c 5 and 6 are protruding and pinching my spinal cord. My chiropractor is doing everything he can to keep me from having surgery.
Friday I go back to my neurologist for a check up. And refills on my medications.
Although I have been released to work again, I can not take an 8 hour shift.... too much on my neck and back still.

It seems that neck problems could lead to more trouble than lower back problems.

I realize that lower back pain is a big deal. I know this from personal experience. I'll struggle on. Sitting, even lying down, causes more pain and numbness than moving. I just cannot find a comfortable position.

The neck ... everything has to reach the brain. I've never had more than a stiff neck, at times.

Good luck with the health care. I hope it all makes you feel better, short and long term.

Hey, Dew',

I'm tempted to go through your "lady friends" thread and count how many responses are from men, out of the total.

It might be good therapy for your neck and shoulders to review those ... kinda like:

:barnie.

Or, :smack
