Okay.
Wait a minute, my people have to send a handwritten note, but your people email back?
Is that because my people is a woman (me) and we're better at handwritten personal notes, and your people are, umm, guy type people?
I thought you were in the hand written crowd. You're not? Ok, email is fine then. Didn't want you to violate your conscience? See we guys are about not trying to hurt anyone's feelings. We are deep that way.....

Yes, I start to read it, then pop tries, then whole screen goes blank. Using iPad.

My BFF2 always sent her 'step-granddaughter' gifts and money for special occasions. Never got so much as a thank you phone call, certainly not a note. Now married with a daughter of her own, she also fails to send thank you's for gifts to her baby daughter.

Last Christmas, BFF skipped the gifts and waited until January to ask if the gift (not sent) was received.

An e-mail will never replace a paper thank you note. Tacky people send tacky thank yous via e-mail. The tackiest people send no thank yous at all. They never get another present from me... Ungrateful people are common. Grateful people are rare jewels.
