Every January when she got a new calendar, my mother in law would put everyone's birthdays and anniversaries. She never forgot to call on that day.

Mary
That is just what I do. I buy a calendar and transfer all the birthdays, anniversaries and other import dates to the new one. Each year I find I have more days filled. ;)

Could just put important dates with repeat and reminder on it for him for his b'day or Xmas gift.

Now, that's right up there with having to put his socks in the hamper for him! LOL. Can life be so busy that a person doesn't have time to fully avail themselves of all that their smartphone can do for them? Must be! :p

I do like Mary and Carol, just copy everything over on my calendar each year (rolls over in July for my dayplanner.)

I love this idea...
If it had a pocket for holding the upcoming month's cards, it would be even better.

When my neighbors got married I gave them very generous shower and wedding gifts as I had know the groom and his family since his birth. 2 years later I got a one line thank-you on their Christmas card. When their daughter was born again I gave a very generous baby gift. Again a one line thank you on their Christmas card. GGGGRRRRR
