I've been searching for 4+ years, tried two separate orders of seeds, searched woods & FB, online was always sold out....

Then I saw them!
Could only afford one, though. Suckers are terribly overpriced!

The planted ones. That stupid $70 tree...got beat up by stupid sheep. 4yrs and now shorter. Ugh.

We have pawpaws that grows wild here. I don't know the variety but the are really good if you can catch them at peak ripness. When they start to turn from green to yellow green, are a little spongy and pull away from the tree easily.

I really hope your pawpaw does well for you, they are a unique treat. Most people, wouldn't even recognize a pawpaw if they were looking straight at it, let alone think about trying one.

5 cages wrapped and ready for use. Debating putting tops on them, too.

Nice no rabbit is going to get in that! However, if you have the wire, I think I would do tops and another warp around also. Field mice and voles can get into some pretty tight spots and get hungry during the winter. I read this in the fedco catalog that came today, hope it's helpful.
