Found a bag of hatch chilis on clearance at the grocery store. After roasting and peeling, I'll seed/trim the veins them to get rid of alot of the heat. Yum dinner shortly!

Murphysranch, hatch chilies are .99lb. so I bought a few to make salsa with. A few years ago I found them in Fresno for .50 and bought a 50lb bag! Never had so many chilies in my life. Took hours to roast them on the grill and then I froze them.

Wow Mary! 50 pounds of chilies? And you think I eat a lot of potatoes... o_O

Thistle, that only happened once and won't happen again. Hatch chilies were hard to come by because they only have them available for a couple of weeks. Once you take the seeds out and they aren't hot, you can use/eat that many in a year.

If I didn't have so many on my own plants I'd be tempted to pick a bunch up at
the market tomorrow while they still have them.
Oh heck, I'm just going to do it!

Oh, sorry, I just mean my pepper plants are loaded. I'd have to look up what I planted, some are jalapenos for sure, and the rest are something else that's very hot. No Hatch.
