I'm curious. History read like a written story. From the first class, with an hour devoted to it for an entire school year, I loved it.

Math just became steadily more difficult. Like a web spun by an insane spider ! !

I barely passed history in school.

But now that I homeschool my kids and we do read a loud history book, I find it way more interesting.

just remember there are many different kinds of math. some are very strange, i don't understand them either. others i do quite ok with.

There was a guy with my family name who won a Nobel Prize in physics. A guy I was reading about yesterday with that same name was a professor of engineering at John Hopkins University. You know, like with machines that keep people alive. These 2 can't be related to me .

I took a statistics class in college. I didn't intend to or thought that I would earn the only D in college in that class, but I did .

Back for grad school, they weren't gonna let that D stand. The school had reduced the class from a junior to a sophomore level ... whatever that meant. HAD to get a B. Struggled more in that class as any other! Got a B.

Do my research, write the thesis, see that a certain analysis was used in similar research. Checked and found out it was used elsewhere, all in peer-reviewed studies. Went with that - just put my numbers in and presto - a social science statistical analysis!

A complete wreck thinking that I would have to talk about math in the defense. Didn't! Dang social scientists ...

A friend of mine created a sodium free, nitrogen derived seasoning compound called "N-salt". It works fine for most things EXCEPT when used in Ethiopian flatbread; it causes severe anger issues.

Guess it's true it is never a good idea to add N-salt to injera.
