Update: I loaded and unloaded a trailer full of wood chips for my garden. Yay! They were free!

Also, drained my pond. How do you clean the scum off of a pond liner?
It stunk sooooo bad. Like a dairy farm.

Unloaded a trailer load of dirt. Yay it was free AND I didn't have to load it myself, a nice man with a bobcat did!

Moved a bunch of stuff and replanted it all in a new bed.

I'm working on a big surprise! :watering I'll post pics when it's totally done. :tools

I know what ya mean about great deals
We get our wood chip mulch free from the city organic dump site :woot
And I made a super big score Wendsday, Tuesday I picked Noah, our grandson up after 4:30 from their muscial play practus (sp?) (tired)
When I did I saw this huge pile of new lumbered palets and Big ones to boot :ep So I called the school and asked what was going to happen to them, and if I could have them? They called me back and said they were mine for the taking. :ya So Dh Went right away and picked all 7 of them up. So today (Thursday) we buildt an instant fence and have used the rest for display racks for the plants for sale :celebrate That just made my day :ya
There is no better Price than FREE :woot ISN'T GREAT :thumbsup

:ep Oh I am Not a tease :ep

Sorry gang I have been trying my best to load up a few photos but I keep getting told I am over my upload limit and :caf I have deleted and deleted till I had deleted almost a whole page, :caf and it still tells me I am at 113% and over my limit. :idunno
So I don't know how I can show you tonight. :caf Sorry I have been trying :idunno

I will try again torrow night and maybe have some shots of people here buying Unless we get the wind , they are talking 27 to 30 mph winds so that will be keeping the plants inside. :hide keeping them under protection of the greenhouse.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Mothers Day :rose :throw

Ok Gang Here I was finally able to upload my photos this time.
Well with only 1 ad in the local free shopper paper Wind was bad enough we didn't set out plants or our road side signs. Even with that, We still had a $200.00 day :celebrate That is after costs :woot For this small rural area I feel that was pretty good. Everyone commented on how healthy and big our tomato and cold weather plants looked :clap So many were impressed with DH's Greenhouse and marveled at the fence garden. DH calls it the horazontal (sp?) garden I believe we will busy tomorrow also :weee We both have really are LOVING THIS :love :love

Oh, here are the photos .....
This one is how we used the other 5 pallets, imanage these covered with plants. Oh and the trailer has cabbage, broccoli, brussel sprout, and kollirobi plants on it.

Here is our instant fence. This is just 2 of the pallets, they are 10 feet long. We left a 2 foot space between the 2 sections and they over lap. That way we still have a passage through with out building a gate. :celebrate

Well I must go out and pot up a few more boots. DH was surprized that I had sold 1 of my old worn out boots with impatient and ivy potted in it :gig :woot

Hi karanleaf!

So glad it went so well -- the two of you must have been SO PROUD :celebrate

The photos are great, the greenhouse is stunning & all the staging for the plants looks very professional & very attractive. :bouquet :bouquet :bouquet It is so important how you present yourself when you are starting out in a new business you have made a wonderful look, a frame for your lovely healthy plants. Have you ever read the books of the British gardener Beth Chatto, on how she set up her nursery. They are wonderful -- she specialised in plants for difficult conditions; very wet & very dry principally. You must try to get hold of them as I'm sure you would love her attitude. I used to get plants from her often because the quality was so much better than from anywhere else. I also have a wonderful book of the letters between her & Christopher Lloyd, another of my gardening heroes, who sadly died a cople of years ago.

GOOD LUCK for today too. :coolsun :coolsun :coolsun
