Awesome. Looks like you have been very busy.

ETA: How do you water that many beds?
I have a timer sprinkler. And my sump pump is hooked up to a backyard hose that I can move around.

Grrrr something is eating my cabbage! All ready! I just planted it!

There weren't any bugs on it when I planted it, so it's something living in my garden. It looks like cabbage looper holes, but it's way too early for them.

Maybe slugs? I sprinkled some DE on all the cole plants.
*sigh* The battle begins.

Thanks for the encouragement! Whenever I feel like giving up I think of all you TEG people! It really helps me to keep going.

It is amazing to see the changes in the garden, in only one month. I never realized how quickly our seasons change here.

I have some flowers blooming!

I should have some neat looking tulips in a few days, too.
I was wondering if blue hyacinths is a bulb?

Lovely photos, especially the tulip sneaking up through the paving slabs  Don't you just love this time of the year when the first bulbs appear, with their silky petals.

I have a lot of purple tulips planted over the grave of my much-lover roo that died last year. I planted the area with Snakes-head fritilleries (sp. ?),Grape hyacinths, the purple tulips & I am going to continue the funerial colours throughout the year.

Happy Gardening this week!

Oh those are great pictures!!!! Love that last one of the tulip coming up between the cement blocks.

I was going to say about the cabbage.... I bought some organic insecticide soap spray.... so far its been working really well on aphids and keeping whatever was eating my pea shoots off. I'm trying not to use any heavy posions and such. Seems to be working....

We are using an organic insecticide soap spray also the one we use has sea kelp in it and it has a very pleasant aroma to it. :) And it has done a wonderful job on the Aphids that had taken over my older stock petuinas. We have also use Hot Pepper Wax spray. Ya just want to make sure you are not down wind of it :sick and wash your hands well :woot
