Beautiful day today in South-est, central-est Wisconsin. High of 39°(F) and sunny. The coming storm is projected to go a tad North with its "inch of snow every two hours" while THEY say we will have mostly rain and ice with perhaps 1-2 inches of snow accumulation. The less snow the better IMHO! Shoveling is not a favorite activity.

On the plus side, DH finally got the 5 inches of ice off the last of the concrete today. And we got a load of corn for the heating system in the woodshop. Even better, the heating system started right up after sitting unused since early last April. We usually just fire it up during the work day, but decided to let it run for 48 hours straight and see how well things heat up.

Glad you're missing this coming winter storm mess!!!
We are in a snow drought this winter. What little we got melted, and the "dry" evenings have sidewalks and parking lots wet just from humidity!
Tomorrow, thunderstorms...winter in the middle of Illinois...

Now some forecasters (IL) are showing the storm even further to the North so we'll just get an all day rain. Others (WI) are still predicting the rain with a couple inches of snow accumulation. Sure hope the meteorologists from Illinois are right.

Today was fantastic. Predictions called for rain, but the sun won out and the temps hit 48 degrees (F) for this, the 7th day of February in Wisconsin.

It's the end of this round of nice weather, though. It is supposed to be below zero (F) by Thursday with wind chills in the minus 30's. Oh, pooh!
