Getting any snow?

3" of snow last night, roads were ok couple more degrees lower and their would have turned to ice... let work temp was 27 once on the interstate it started to rain froze up the wipers had to stop twice to slap on the windshield them clear. now tonight they are calling for .01 of ice by 2 am and then rain with temps raising to 43 by 5 am...going to be interesting in the morning.....
 
We go about 3 inches as well, major. Ours was mostly light and fluffy. As soon as the drive was cleaned, the faint sun -- hiding behind heavy clouds -- started doing what it does and the concrete began running with melting snow. Only got to 27 degrees (F) here, but every little bit of heat helped. The driveway is nearly bare. Yea!
 
We had some rain earlier (about 9pm) then it turned to snow (got about 4 inches) and now (330am) we have a mix of rain and snow @ 35ish degrees. Oh well, Friday they say is going to be 52.
 
Drat it! We are snowing! The nicely shoveled driveway is now white again. Just a few of those white flakes in the sky, but they gang up on us too quickly. Where are my 50s?
 
got about 4" overnight. on trip home from work the temp was 51* and all that we got overnight was melted.

if you don't like the weather just give it a few minutes.....it might just change for the better.
 
3 days ago it was in the teens snowing sleeting and freezing rain, today it was sunny 60* and had to turn the a/c on in the truck on the way home...

welcome to north carolina if you dont like the weather now ..wait a day
 
Light snow yesterday. Today the driveway is nearly clear and dry. I haven't heard the forecast, but the City is spraying beet juice on its streets. Usually means snow (or ice) is expected soon.
