Light snow yesterday. Today the driveway is nearly clear and dry. I haven't heard the forecast, but the City is spraying beet juice on its streets. Usually means snow (or ice) is expected soon.

Beet juice? What are the special properties of beet juice Red? Does everything turn pink?

From what I've heard, spraying with beet juice will coat the roads and keep the snow from sticking so it is easier to plow up. Must work, they've been doing it for several years and the roads have been cleared much faster after snowstorms.

Br-r-r-r-r!

It's 37 degrees (F) right now as the deep clouds thin out and we get peeks of sunlight filtering through the clouds. The driveway -- what little snow was left in tire tracks -- is nearly bare and dry.

I don't live in the mountains so I feel free to say, "Better you than me" (along with) "Bless your heart".
