Thanks for all your concern. He did go apply for unemployment yesterday. He is a multi-talented guy, so hopefully he will find something soon.
The company he worked for filed for bankruptcy, got taken over by the bank, and sold pretty quickly to a company in St Louis. I hadn't heard of anyone else getting the ax yet. He managed the retail outlet in the company, and the new guys want to close the retail part. You would think a different position could be found for him, somewhere in the company, though.

At least, it was sold.

I wonder if he could take a little trip to St. Louis and talk with the new owners. They may see things a little differently when he isn't just an item in the stats.

Bank. One of those HUGE trees that fell on a house 300 yards from where I live. It fell a month ago. Crushed the living room picture window and roof above. Tree is still there. House has been vacant. There are those stickers on the front door that foreclosed houses have. Okay, Bank! Clean up YOUR mess!

I'm too tight. IF I want to send manure, I can beat $30+..... People I would send it to aren't worth that much.
