I have received composted manure as a gift, twice!

Once for my birthday and once as a "welcome back," both in the Spring.

Both times, I was happy with that.

check out ebay sometime & do a search for manure. it really surprised me a couple years ago when i found someone selling some seeds & when i checked to see what else they sell i came across their selection of mini horse manure. when i just checked ebay i found rabbit, alpaca, goat, sheep, earthworm, cricket? and of course the usual horse, cow and i've seen chicken.

A gardener who works at a zoo said nothing beat lion scat as a deer repellent !! I wonder if deer are scared of gorillas?
Highland or lowland gorillas? Or perhaps Columbian cartel gorillas? The deer I've seen are scared of most everything that moves. Gorilla scat probably wouldn't be useful, however.
