Nah, my horses don't wear boots. They aren't show or performance horses, they just hang out and eat. Today the farrier came and trimmed their hooves, I don't even put shoes on them. They go barefoot. Today I found out that Joe, my old senior horse that is slow, safe for anybody to ride, he doesn't like the pigs. I rode him bareback out the driveway where he had to run the gauntlet between pigs and sheep. He was real spooky about the pigs, but we got past them and down the road we went. Coming back, the pigs charged the fence, grunting and snorting. Joe took one look at these BMO's (Black Moving Objects) and jumped right out of his skin. He went one way and I went the other. I landed-splat-in the dirt driveway. I got up, caught Joe and walked him up and down the fence, he tried to run away, he kicked at the fence and just hated everything about the pigs. How funny.

Glad you weren't hurt! I can't say I blame him though. I'm a little scared of pigs myself.
