I'm curious how many have seen the volcanoes in the West - or, would like to, and which ones?

Rainier is incredible. As is Shasta, @murphysranch 's probably drives past it on her way to visit Oregon's Applegate Valley.

@so lucky might have seen Mt. Hood in her exploration of the McKenzie River. @Smart Red on her ill-advised trip to Portland??

On a clear day, we can see 3 snow covered volcanoes from Vancouver, Wa. or Portland, Ore. areas. :)

According to the residents of Portland, OR, if you can't see Mt. Hood it is raining; if you can see Mt. Hood it is going to rain. Yes, there were a few "going to rain" days during my stay in the PNW.

The book said something about photo in 1932.

I believe it is this '31 Chevrolet sedan.
