I have my own big chicken.....even my hubby buys me chicken gifts....He doesn't live in my house anymore. He has found a home out in one of the back gardens. He is sort of hiding....LOL

Good thing you got him out of the house, I think he is after my favorite winter hat, @waretrop !

I've been thinking about commenting on this thread about collection.

Am I a collector of Hats? I must have about 8, or so. They are all worn at some time over 12 months or I throw them away. At the moment, not a single one is so new (or precious) it hasn't been through the wash at least once. Shoes? All the same brand. Gloves? No. Nick knacks? Ha!

I'm not even a good collector of seed. Not even garden plants! I lose track of the plant tags in the garden and often can't figure out what I've got out there until it produces :D.

it's a different type of chicken math going on in TX!

 And she's trying to subtract, bless her little heart! You go, Bay! :woot

How funny would it be if everyone sent Bay chicken figures for xmas:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Now THAT'S something I can get behind...anyone know Bay's address? :pop I've seen a few really ugly chickens at Good Will I can gift her.

Bay, what you really need is a nice little antique cupboard or some such for your new porch that has doors and "display" your ugly chicken collection there with doors open when the neighbor comes to visit, but just close the doors at all other times. That way you have a nice piece of furniture for your porch and none of it clutters the house.

Sort of like these....

Or a nice antique pie safe...those things come in handy on a porch to store functional things also, but the chickens could nest among all the more functional items such as rope, boots, etc. :D
