I picked more today... another handful like yesterday... and there are even more coming ready!! I really hope that it continues to do this all summer!! THAT would be great! LOL

Ninnymary, I have picked strawberries for most of my 62 years. We would get out of school in early May so kids could pick for the farmers. We got a dine a quart to pick. I raised them for several years to pick and sell because that got me through financially raising 3 kids on a rural teacher salary and jobless during the summer. I destroyed my back and knees from raising/picking strawberries. lol I guess I do know more about strawberries than most anything else I grow.

Don't you just love them!? My chickens are eating to their heart's content we have no many berries that I just toss some into their run while I'm out picking. I see no end in site yet!!!

Retired with 4 acres, can ya tell us about growing strawberries please??? I think yours is knowledge good to pass around.

Yes We like to know the secret of growing strawberries !! I take it doesnt do well in the heat I tried shade , but they never do good
