This is the back garden, behind the chicken coop. I have raised beds closer to the house. The raised beds are not that great looking at the momemt, lettuce going to seed, volunteer sunflowrs, bare patches where I harvested beets, etc.bluelacedredhead said:

Sabra bottles have a long neck that goes down to the roots of the plants.
When I plant something that needs more watering, I make a hole to fit the bottle near the roots of the plant.
Any type of bottle would work, though, if they have a long neck it is better for getting down to the roots.
Wine bottles work too.
My husband is afraid people will think he drinks too much by all the bottles I use in my gardens!
To put in a drip system in my yard would be a "nightmare" according to my neighbor who put in drip systems for a living.
