Lovely garden design. Is this in your front yard? I think pics you posted a while back had small raised beds like this did it not?
This is the back garden, behind the chicken coop. I have raised beds closer to the house. The raised beds are not that great looking at the momemt, lettuce going to seed, volunteer sunflowrs, bare patches where I harvested beets, etc.

Pretty! What do you have on the bottles to make them drip?? A cap with a hole or something?? Interesting!

Looks great Reb, I like your gardening style. Do tell about the watering bottles Im interested!
Well, it is very easy really, I used old Absoute Vodka, and Sabra (a chocolate orange liquer from Israel) bottles.

Absolute Vodka has this plastic insert in the neck of the bottle that keeps the soil from compacting in the opening.
Sabra bottles have a long neck that goes down to the roots of the plants.

When I plant something that needs more watering, I make a hole to fit the bottle near the roots of the plant.

Any type of bottle would work, though, if they have a long neck it is better for getting down to the roots.
Wine bottles work too.

My husband is afraid people will think he drinks too much by all the bottles I use in my gardens!

To put in a drip system in my yard would be a "nightmare" according to my neighbor who put in drip systems for a living.
