Here we are 5 weeks into the outside stuff. Looking forward, Beets and Chard - Potato - Broccoli / Kale.
Looking back on Broc and Kale and one of the heads. There’s 30 plants in this little footprint!
Looking the other way is Carrots, more Beets and Parsnips then Onions in the covered bed and Peas along the back fence.

Oh yea; Then a tray with the first picking from two Tomato plants!😊

Couldn't be happier, Thank you Lord!
You have a beautiful garden!

Thanks, things are doing well this year partly due to a very unusual weather pattern. We never have this consistently uniform weather; and that can change tomorrow but were happy it’s stayed as long as it has.

Those Tomato’s are becoming sauce this afternoon.

Today was also Rabbit food day; moving the bags from the truck to the barn is getting to be a lot of work for a mature fellow😏 in another month i’ll being in some hay and be all set for another year.

We are here again; ALL READY! Someone needs to re-write the phrase “time flies when your having fun” to include a second verse.
It could read “time sure flies when your having fun or are over 70 and work hard all the time and hurt too much to enjoy it”.

Anyway, were happy the good Lord has given us the years we’ve had and still appreciate the blessing that comes from all the hard work.

Within 60 days the Greenhouse cukes will be gone BUT the bathtub grow will be rocking!
Another sure sign summer’s winding down are the long rainy stretches that occur more frequently now. We got 1.25 inches over the weekend.

Speaking of the blessing; today is a tomato day so I added one and a “too crooked cuke to give away” to the usual bean & pea haul. Along with a very small handful of berries! Won’t be long till Raspberries will be ready too.

That looks delicious. I would probably put the peas tomato and if that's a squash in a pot with some steak or chicken and potatoes and chow down. The strawberries would be dessert.
