When we lived in Livingston, next door neighbor was a cat hoarder. Plus she fed feral cats, 50-60 showed up every night to be fed. They were a nightmare. They peed on the front porch and corner of the house. Dog in backyard killed every one of them that were stupid enough to come in her yard, which weren’t many. Most of my garden was in the front yard, prime kitty poop real estate. I grew to hate them. One year I bought a lot of plastic forks and planted them in the garden, tines up. They were close together so no matter where one of those #*+!&$= cats copped a squat, fork tines poked their patootie. Extreme, but it worked.

On humid days, due to urine soaked corner of house, the aroma wafted through the house. Front porch smelled like an open sewer. Clorox, every chemical known to mankind, did not work. Fortunately most days were either too hot and dry or too cold. Blech.

I feel you there. My friend and I were going to try cleaning a house out for an older man because he wanted to rent it for extra money. It stunk so bad that just getting out of the car was killing us. It wasn't just animal waste either. The tenants were very disgusting and fowl. I went to my husband's mom's house and I left due to the disgusting stinch. She had been being so lazy she was sitting in a recliner and soiling herself and then she would just change her diaper in the front room and put them in the trash. She acted like it was supposed to be like that.

I'm going to try to get the big raised bed filled with the hugelkultre system and later on I will get the soil in it. We're expecting rain all weekend so I won't be able to do it then so I have to get it done tomorrow
