I'm down 2 pounds in a week. My goal is 1-2 lbs a week. I'm just eating very tiny portions and not any of the good stuff.

Congrats to all of you! Healthy is always better! .......says Baymule....munching on a slice of imitation zucchini bread....(substituted yellow squash because I have so durn much of it)......

All my life I was a carpenter's dream--2x4 and not a curve on me. I was skinny. I am 5'8" tall. No problem! Have babies! They told me. I had kids and my weight wound up being less than what I started with. I stayed around 120 pounds, give or take a few until I hit middle age. I gained weight. Finally! Now my weight is 140 pounds, give or take a few. I have curves. I have BOOBS and a BUTT!! :weee If this is middle age spread, I'll take it!!

Even IF I took up weight lifting I do not think I will be getting rid of the excess skin sag after weight loss. It is something I can live with though.

Probably by now most everyone has heard of this little lady. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/video...ay-will-inspire-you-to-hit-the-gym/vi-AAhpdR8 Totally awe inspiring. Started working out at age 56! Look how firm her skin is too.
There is a plastic surgeon who says exercising is not only good for your health but also very good for your skin. It gets more oxygen and blood circulation. I see it true in my case. I recently went to a wedding where all the women were wearing sleeveless dresses. They all had sagging arms and skin and these are women who I've known for 30+ years that have never been overweight. It made me sad that none of them were living healthy lifestyles.

My reward for weight loss will be a little snip and tuck LOL. One of my clients is a very well known plastic surgeon.
Not personally knowing a plastic surgeon and having an insurance plan that will not cover it, I can live with it.
