Keep cool, Steve.... you'll be hotter than us today.
We're only supposed to get to 91 today, though it's 92 currently. And not quite noon. Hmm.

Our weather is so severe that it killed 19 firefighters and over 300 homes destroyed from wildfires in North west Arizona. Town called Yarnell. My prayers go out to them :(

We are stuck in a crappy weather pattern :( The swimming pool has only been used once or twice so far this summer.:he I hope this weather pattern changes by next Wednesday :( It is nice most of the day, then we get either bad storms or rain every day... just heard there is not going to be any change clean threw next Monday. SICK OF THE RAIN. :barnie :hit

I wish I could send our storms out west for you guys, inches and inches of flooding rains would really help you.

We have another storm rolling in right now. Its been day in and day out of storms for the last 2+ weeks. I've lost count. We're expected at least 2 more days of storms. I'm really truly sick of it. The ducks are mess, the chickens are in a swamp and I've lost tons of plants to this.... its also spreading diseases to the plants that can manage to stay upright. UGH! :he

I know what you mean vfem!!!! This weather really stinks! We get a few bad storms every now and then but mostly it's been rain. Looks like the 4th of July is going to be kind of soggy too :( :'(

The Weather Service tells us that Boise Idaho was 110 today.

That only misses an all-time record by 1.

Our California gardeners should be telling us about the heat. Some records being set there. Of course, it is hot in the southern Cal desert but the entire Central Valley has above 100 temperatures.

Heard today, this June was the third rainiest on record. I can certainly believe it! More flooding tonight- hopefully it won't be the third rainiest July!

I remember when my daughter Julia was born, two days before it was in the 50's the day she was born it was 80 and tornado warnings all around. This was one of the June's where you didn't know how to dress from one day to the next. :/ July is starting off rainy, with warm days and cool evenings.
