as a kid i was very allergic and reactive to many foods including peanut butter, citrus of any kinds plus many other things including eggs.

i went once a week for many years to a doctor to get stuck with needles full of things to get me to where i could survive most buffets without too much to worry about.

however, i've also had bad batches of peanut butter that did get me to react to them and i stopped eating peanut butter for a few years and was careful when i started up again. now i eat roasted peanuts and peanut butter practically every day. with citrus i eat a small orange or some lime or lemon once in a while without any problem but if i eat a lot i will break out in small bumps in reaction and i have very bad reactions to cleaning stuff that has orange oil in it. lemon is not so bad, but overall most smelly stuff will bother me and garden plants of various kinds are also reactive for me so i have to be careful around plants i don't know (lavender i can react to like poison ivy and lilacs are also very bad and i have to get away from them if they are blooming).

technically @digitS' the potatoe chip was an appetizer... :) well past the 5 second rule by many hours, plus the kind of potato chip was sturdy enough that it could have sat there for a week and still been edible. they're incredibly hard and crunchy potato chips:

seed swap is done and i'm glad to be home. it went well plus i was able to donate the seed containers i had left over to another person's seed swap that will happen later this month.

i'd say there were 150-200 people who showed up. i was busy almost the entire time. i'm glad i don't have to talk much tonight or tomorrow.

it's been raining for quite a while now and some wind so far too and no leaks that i know of (Mom is sleeping and it's 3:30am so i can't be sure of everything). there is more rain and wind in the forecast for the next few days so i sure hope this tests out the roof leak caulking those roofing people did some time ago and we can determine at least for now that things have improved. so far it is hopeful.

went to bed early and now been up for a bit so i can try to go back to sleep. :)

i got out for a walk a bit ago for a few minutes just to check on the water situation along the south edge (the River Nile we call it). yes there is some flow with all the rains we've had the past few days, but nothing major. more rains in the forecast for the next few days.

still no leaks and Mom said she didn't get dripped on last night so... a bit more hopefullll...
