My DH doesn't need anyone to come in and help him care for me. He is doing just fine meeting my needs (although a few wants are unmet). I am not seeking a second on the one on one testing that was done. Either there are therapies that will help or there aren't. We are okay with that aspect of his health. The other avenues are to find why this is happening and happening so quickly. DH already knows and likes the neurologist so he's agreeable to seeking more information that way.I am sorry, Red, to hear what all you guys are going through. Sounds like a second opinion would be a good idea. Is hiring an in-home caregiver a possibility? Maybe even a couple of hours a day would help take some of the pressure off of you and give you some time for yourself.
