Will you have to put a cover over this pond for protection from herons?
That is a big pond. Fun to watch your progress. Lots of hard work.

Yeah.
Going to eventually put up a frame to fully enclose it year round.

I bought two 25×50ft nets for the yard around the house to let the housecat out. Used one. Need to dig up the other to put up.

Caught DiamondGlitterz earlier, but she bled from the gill. So, put her in the sale trough until I googled it.
Females are much more frail in the tissues, so any stress or moving them can easily cause bleeding from the gills.
Moved her real quick a few hours later and no issue this time. So, pics/video isn't great.

Old pond is just a hole now. Will have to cut the plants apart to be able to move them.
