We have a few hundred feet on a paved road on the east here.
It snowed less that 2'.
Sunday I was moving the snow where we park the cars and wifey asked me to clear by the big gate, that is down a ways, so they can put out some bags ,of cow flowers, to be picked up.
That night she asked me: " what were you thinking? " " The area you cleared is 30' from the gate."

I walked down there this morning and sure enough, I had cleared where our Catalina is parked, below the lower corral.

Keep this under your hat OK. Must be just an earth shift of something.

Snowing ...

However, the sun has nearly broken thru and is too bright to look at thru my South Window - the snow clouds coming from the north.

It will amount to a "dusting" is about all.

Here is the most recent graphic of our snow pack that you can click for a larger image. It's from a week ago. The numbers are probably only a little lower, now.

Not so bad in the north ... In fact, the precipitation numbers are much higher for the PNW. A problem is that that it was winter rain and summer rain is so very likely to be lacking, even in a "normal" year. Snow in the mountains make up for the usual deficit because the soil stays saturated and the rivers run high for as long as the snow is melting. The map shows 30 year percentages and we can easily see the serious lack of snow to the south.

Yep, we are right there neck and neck for the next couple of months, Red. But, you had nearly an hour head start, back in December.

... let's see ... ;) there near Madison, you will have a (standard time) June 21st sunrise at 4:18am and a sunset at 19:41pm, for a little less than a 15 1/2 hours. Meanwhile, I will be enjoying a warm 16 hours even! I'll be there in that distant bright light :ya!

And, some may think I have neither math skills nor a life!

I have never doubted your math skills!
