Weather forecasters here are saying we could get another 6 to 8 inches of snow on Wednesday, then the temp drops to 0*. Had a layer of ice all over the cleared area this morning. I have a pair of Velcro cleat things that slip on over my boots. Without them, I know I would have had a treacherous trek to the chicken house this morning. If you don't have something like this, you need to get them. Especially if you are old and decrepit like me.

We have a 2 hour late start today. Hope the rain/ice stops and road crews get out there soon. I better look for my cleats before heading out anyway. Sidewalk a slippery slushy mess when I let dog out.
