http://www.mysnuggiestore.com/bright-eyes-blanket-kitten Today is a friends Birthday. He is a Sandhog, digging tunnel under Hudson river to connect Ny with Nj. His coworkers are kind of rough and tough men. A party for him is being held in this filthy bar on lower east side by his co workers. Place is so bad I will only drink beer from the bottle, don't think alcohol is enough to sterilize glasses. For a birthday gift I got him pink kitty snuggie, which I wrapped in hello kitty paper. Can wait till gift opening time!!! I did hide a bottle of Jack Daniels in snuggie. Should be a interesting night.

My BFF1's oldest son is digging tunnels (horizontal drilling) in Canada right now. It is a well-paid, but tough job. Last week his pay stub showed 128 hours of work. Sounds like an accident waiting to happen to me, but as I said, the pay is good.

Of course, he's away from home for months at a time and BFF1 is caring for his 14 YO son during his work periods. Tough on all of them.

I hope you have a SAFE, fun, and (okay) interesting evening.

It was a very interesting night. I was the only one who wrapped their gift. All the other gifts where bottles of booze. Some of the gentleman didn't feel the need for a card and just wrote on the label with sharpie.

The gift of booze isn't one that benefits from wrapping. On the other hand, carrying an unwrapped Hello Kitty snuggle into a questionable location? Probably a wise move to have it wrapped.

One could always say the paper wrapped gift is for a young niece if questioned by the wrong type. Every man loves his young nieces!
