Praying you are all ok . :hugs
It got dark very quickly this evening sort if like winter is setting in. It's been predicted that we'll have another heat wave in September
Apparently it was up to 34 in London today.

Another question is,

How is @thistlebloom ?

I have just learned that her location had the worst of that region's wind. And, there is a fire on the mountain not very far to the east. A very big lake in between, as I understand it.

Steve
There's hardly any news on these fires here, all we've had is some people being lifted by helicopter on a mountain after a vacation. This serious news is being sidestepped: :(

And now, evacuations are happening in Jackson County Oregon.

@Rhodie Ranch is north of Medford. "Burning to Stewart Avenue" That would include my childhood home and our farm. It's now the location for the South Medford High School!

We are well, thank you for asking Steve. Apparently we got some 60mph gusts, with steady 30 -40 mph winds. No trees down here, but some of my work properties were a mess yesterday. Thankfully one huge aspen came down between two houses rather than on top of one or the other.

A few local fires not too far, one east and one west. Friends who live near the eastern Bernard fire were told to prepare to evacuate, but thankfully the fire didn't crest the mountain behind them. Horse camping this week got canceled due to a fire in Heyburn Park.

My garden got hit by cold. My window thermometer said 29f the phone said 36f, the plants said probably 31. I meant to pull everything on Saturday just to get it off my conscience since I've been a bad gardener this year, but now it's uglier than ever.

It is dark this morning. The fog and smoke are making everything look eerie like the twilight zone.
