Decided to throw out some lettuce seed today to have for a fall harvest.

Ran out of light before I could get the radishes in.

(My chickens are eye balling what I'm doing, so I'm afraid they'll be eating lettuce long before me!)

I planted Fava beans. No idea why just seemed like a good idea. I found some dried one in a grocery store in NYC in July. Now I hope to find some good fava bean recipes.

Hi everybody!
What a cool site, and yes, I just hopped over here from BYC for the first time. My user name (originally it was cheep cheep) won't make much sense here, except that we're always trying to live frugally (maybe my TEG name should be cheap cheap?!)

What did I plant today? I planted my feet on the hiking trail to a beautiful waterfall near Jamaica, Vermont for a change of pace. :D
