Cimicifuga …hands down. The sweet fragrance can call everyone to look for the flower perfuming the garden.
A lovely soft scent.
This is what cam up for me when I searched "Cimicifuga" ...

@ducks4you I usually have to pull my begonias from the pot in late fall then separate the plant from the tuber. Let the tuber dry then store in wood shavings in a dark cool area until spring.
Thanks for the advice. Right Now, tuberous begonias are on my list of "bad boyfriends."
(For others, "bad girlfriends.")

That is our family name for "things that disappoint us."
DD's have a short list of Anime Conventions that are on Their bad boyfriend list, like A.C.E.N.
(Anime Central., in Chicago.)
They would come back from this convention Year and Year after Year and complain, complain, complain.
I had enough of the gardenia that I bought and loved and slowly watched die that I will Never try That one again!
