Oh Hattie you're a young thing! You remind me so much of my Auntie Jean, she's around the same age as my nan but she's so full of life, she's positively hilarious. When I was a kid my cousins had 2 goats and named one after my Auntie, who is their Nan and they called her Nanna Jean. Auntie Jean was so thrilled! She's a total riot, and she too gardens.

My nan was born born in the late 20's I believe, I have no idea.. we've been celebrating her 75th birthday for about 10 years LOL. She moved to the London area shortly after the start of WW2, I know that, from Wales.

My dad was born in 1955, my mum in 1958... :D And I'm a 1989 baby lol. I always talk about how I feel old, because I went back to high school a year ago and was sharing classes with 16 year olds when I was 20.

Dear Hattie Hen, thank you for sharing your appreciation of my mostly-about-gardening blog. Life's been a bit hectic these last few weeks and I logged in today for the first time in yonks. How curious and then delighted I was to see new traffic from your forum post. I have a couple more 'Ministry of Food' posts pending so pop back over in a week or to to see how the 'mock goose' turned out.
I see you're a cat mum too - I have 3 fluff monsters. If you'd like to go 'ahhh' then use the search button to find 'Billy', 'Mikey' and 'Poppet.

Hello Boggybranch too. Glad to be of service with creating a chuckle or two for you - 'stupid o'clock' on that occasion was 5am so worthy of the name I think ;o)

Yep..."stupid o'clock"(LOL, again), gotta remember that one. Have put shortcuts to both your links on my desktop. So much to explore and I want to keep up with future posts. Thanks for taking time to do it.

:frow Hattie,

I do believe that you have stumbled onto the female counterpart to the "Soilman". She is funny.......and another "shortcut" is birthed.

PS:......me, too. That was completely unexpected and GREAT.
