:frow Hattie,

As usual....you're timing is spot on.
I kinda like the woven "fence" raised bed idea.....but seems that it wouldn't be too good at holding in the dirt.

It's got a lot of side bar 'adventures', too.

Glad to hear that you will soon be gettin on with planting.....been a long winter, huh?

:frow Hattie,

I am soooo glad that so many allotment gardeners over there have blogs. And I surely appreciate you taken the time to "run em down" and sharing them.

Just got done building two more beds and setting up my tomatoe cages on the north side of the 15' X 20' bed. Things are getting "lottier and lottier", here. :weee

Gonna try and go cut some canes for the climbing beans today, too. Gotta have me some of them "teepee" frames.

Oooh! I had to add this although it's an English garden in the making; but it has enough raised vegetable beds to be an allotment in it's self. I hope he/she/they have help. There are certainly wonderful views around there. I used to watch those same hills from the other side about 20 years ago.

I love that part of the country but it is a whole lot colder & must have been pretty terrible this winter. People were snowed in up there.....!!

Edited later to say that the blog above needs to be read in conjunction with this one:

***what a full life they live

I wonder at what age, "trips down memory lane" start happening. At 57, I have them almost on a daily basis...bout the only time feelings of happiness and melancholy collide.....but essential in remembering the past.

Laughed out loud at the words...."stupid o'clock". Now, THAT'S funny.
