It's looking ugly over there. I was in the other house working on more electrical stuff and could feel the temps dropping. Hold onto your hats over there!

And get the shovels ready!

That little rain we had blew away, just part cloudy, part blue sky now. Be safe with that storm back east!

I believe that this image will update. . . it is NOAA's answer to their usual kind of drab satellite pictures. It is infrared photograph but the colors are computer applied. The reds are high and deep clouds, yellow less so, and the greens are lower and lighter clouds.

There is supposed to be a decent sized storm in my neck of the woods this Sunday as well. Preparing my chickens for the storm like I did last time. Cleaning out the coop and putting in layers of wood shavings and straw for warmth, putting in two 5 gallon waterers, two 30pound feeders full, and checking my reinforcments and little back up generator for the heat lamps. And giving them their BOSS fodder today since they will be on lock down for a few days :( I'll only be making one trip out a day to get eggs. Also some warm plain oatmeal and some yogurt. They are truely spoiled but what can ya do?

I'd think being mutually stranded like that on an expressway would be one way to meet new friends.
