23F right now and snowing again. Forcasted for another 3-5" this afternoon and this evening on top of the 4" we just got. Temps forcasted to be below freezing for the next few days. Looks like there might be a break by the weekend with temps reaching the low to mid 40's. Phil has a few days yet. I've already cleaned the 12ga and mapquested Punxsutawney

Easy Monty he said an early spring not spring this week and lets face it, those guys in the hats claiming to speak groundhogese probably had a lot to drink, so you maybe gunning for the wrong character. LOL. Here in the Ohio valley February is to winter like August is to summer. March and April are when the real fun starts warm one day and 6-8 inches of snow the next.... oh wait that was last week.

1-2 feet of snow predicted for Boston on Friday. The same day my husband is having knee replacement surgery in Boston! The timing should work out for our traveling but family is taking care of the animals which will make it harder for them. Hope the warm air comes off the ocean and gives us rain instead. I am usually the lover of deep snow, just not this weekend!

Thanks-it's looking worse all the time. It is the 35th anniversary of the Blizzard of '78. The worst around here by all standards. The area was closed down for 10 days. Many deaths. Safety is a lot better now though.

Winter Storm Nemo is heading for Northeast!!

We're expecting 1 foot of snow to fall here. It's been below average snowfall so far this winter. Its going to be a Blizzard this time tomorrow. I hope everyone is ready and prepared.

It will be a great weekend to stay inside and look at garden catalogs!!!
