The bomb cyclone responsible for this week's winds will remain offshore, but B.C.'s coast and mainland will still see intense wind gusts.

This is definitely a big topic of conversation at the moment, with predictions of downed trees and power outages. Tomorrow is supposed to be fairly nice, so before this weather event hits I need to focus on getting my garlic planted. Then Wednesday we can hunker down and stay inside where it's warm and dry.

Good timing on the garlic. Every since middle DD got mine planted we have had on again, off again showers watering them in.
