Going to start some riding lessons on December 1st and go from there about sending the gelding for training now or waiting until spring.
Nervous fun and excitement!
Gotta ask if I can record my lessons so I can review them and try to learn from them.

Lol, true.
I used the excess of the fender leathers to hold them in the right place and not spin.
Haven't gotten to ride the last few days, can hopefully get to it today.
Though, I do still ride him up to the barn.

Well, been working with the nutheads about loading...pinto mini is zero issue.
But the silver mini and the gelding have been giving me issues.
Which then turned into one sticky, uncooperative ride with the gelding the one day it stopped raining....Of course! =/
But at least the english stirrups were great!
Also noticed I girthed him up 2 extra holes! And on profile, he is visibly thinner now! Yay! Still a long way to go, but getting there!
It's back to a ton of rain...I hate cold mud!
My lesson for today has moved to tomorrow, will rain then as well, but will be around 58, so a little warmer.
Will eventually get pics, should be dry on Thursday.

Rode a giant horse! Well, 16H, but he seemed much larger. His head is nearly half my height!
Have some things to practice for now.
