Not going to be fun :( Hope you get a better room/bed that trip.

oh lord no, that half of the building is one nasty piece of work, everything is covered in sawdust 1-3" deep, spider webs everywhere and covered in sawdust.resin/varnish covering the floor, anchor bolts sticking up on the floor... the list goes on and on and on.... yes on this part of the clean up <if the old owner worms out of it> yes it's going to be nasty..

and have made a request to stay at the quality suites next door to the sleep inn..

wow the first smart thing they have ever done....they have invited osha to visit all the locations.....:thumbsup

there are 2 sides of osha.
the people who are visiting us next tuesday are from the "compliance" department,< which will be 2 different people> <1 is health, the other is safety> when they come out and visit they will not "fine you" on the spot ,but what they do find wrong they tell you how to fix it and give you x amount of time to fix it.

the other side is the "enforcement"department where they walk onto your business and they find something wrong they fine you on the spot...

nice to see that they are finally getting proactive instead of reactive... be interesting to see what their report will be next tuesday since we do not have a on site safety person.. expecting every department to at least get a couple of minus's

I had one of those OSHA compliance guys walk into my business one time. He made out a long list of things I had to "get right". Most of it was little nit-picking things. We corrected everything, painted one foot wide safety yellow stripes in various places and he came back a few weeks later. He checked everything off and left.
