Nyboy, that "table?" is certainly . . . . interesting. Not my cup of tea, but the tractor seat stools would go well with it.
I wouldn't have a lot of confidence in those horse trainers. Just supposing they were horse whisperers, what language would they be training the horses to understand? Not English. All in only two week! That's a lot of bonding in a very small window of time. Run, don't walk away from that deal.
Other than their poor spelling, they are talking about Monty Robert's method of "Join Up" and it can indeed get a horse trained to ride in two weeks. I don't know what the usual rate in your area is for breaking a horse to ride, but I know what they pay around here and that's a good deal. Especially if they are using Monty's methods.
Y'all need to read up about a feller by the name of Monty Roberts... Everyone said the same thing about his techniques back when he coined the phrase and started demonstrating them to the public and thousands upon thousands of horses later, his methods still work.
Did a great dumpster dive today!!! Was just driving along and spied some newer looking lumber out with the trash at a business.
Looked at Mom and asked, "Do you mind if I scavenge a bit?"
She replied, "Not at all, we've got time!"
Got nine premium grade 2x4s~8ft length, three 6 ft. 2x4s, a couple of 4ft sections of same, various pieces of trim and door framing, and an old wooden ladder(trellising material is what we call those around here).
Total time to dive, approx. 7 min., cost of dive~FREE.
And I was just headed to Lowe's today to get some 2x2s for a project...sorry, Lowe's, you lose a sale due to wasteful town folk.
Bee I have been looking for old wooden ladders after seeing a great arbor at craft show. They took 2 ladders 1 for each side, then they cut 3rd ladder in half and made a pediment top out of 2 cut pieces. Very cool but with $600 price tag it stayed at show.
