Oh the worry, but it is so good for his morale to let him do as much as he feels able. It's a good sign that he wants to push himself a little and keep moving. He'll keep you on your toes too though.
Well, he fell again Saturday night. He was sitting on the couch eating and DB, DS and I were playing cards not even 10 feet away and I saw he was finishing his food and I asked if he wanted more and he said no, I looked over again and he had got off the couch and went to the door to let the cat out carrying his empty plate. He somehow fell and DS and DB got him to a chair. He later said his head hurt and we took him to the hospital. They did a CT scan of his head and he had a small bleed, but his IV site where they were giving fluids was bleeding and another spot where they took blood. I am not sure if they are thinking the blood thinner caused this again or the fall. He did not hit his head when he fell, but hit the floor hard. He was talking better than he has been. They admitted him and kept him all of Sunday and Monday morning they repeated the scan and the bleeding was stable. They sent him home with no blood thinner. I had the neurosurgeon look at the scans and he said since he bled on low dose Lovenox, he can never be on a blood thinner again. He seems tired yesterday and today and now he said his back hurts. I will see in the morning if this is better. It just started and I hope it is not anything serious. He had radiation to his back once where a bone kind of crumbled when cancer spread to a bone, so his bones are not strong in his back. He has been having slight headaches too. He has been using the walker in the house, but a couple of times got up without the walker when I was not looking. It is wearing me and DS out and mostly just from worry. With this cyber attack thing going on, I have had no work today and may not tomorrow, so that helps but not fun with no money being made.
Thank you for the hugs and prayers. Good news this morning is his back does not hurt. He seems better today. I am hoping since he is off the blood thinner then his brain will start to heal faster.
