Pulsegleaner every halloween friends and I do one of the Sleepy Hollow Tours, then dinner at horsefeathers. This year we did the pumkin Blaze on Sunday night, it is always sold out months before. I wish I knew you where in Sleepy hollow I had a extra ticket, you could have joined us. Last year did the cemetery tour, had a great guide. While at the old church I was surprized to see a marker saying " a witch was buried here". I always thought witches can't be buried in church graveyards. I came home and goggled witch at old dutch church, and found her story. Very sad she must have been a healer

Thanks but I was busy that night (family).

I had a few small groups, but mostly nothing. My next door neighbor thinks it is because we live on a cul de sac. Lazy kids! Now I have to eat all these tootsie rolls! :)

I have to add that in our town almost ALL of the witches and goblins make the rounds to fill their gunnysacks with bountiful booty right after school lets out, then they go home to have something to eat and proceed to venture out to plunder the neighborhood. Followed by them tormenting their parents with sugar highs for days on end. :drool :th

Well I was disappointed I only had 6 kids, 3 were by themselves and the fourth group had 3 kids. I think next year I'm going to go trick or treating with Olivia. That would be alot more fun. Afterwards we did go to one of my parents home for a small party. Had a really nice time. This morning I went to another kids party and had another great time, and tonight I'm going to the Dia de Los Muertos party. Oh and tomorrow I'm going to breakfast with one of my good friends. I think I'll be able to rest on Monday when I go back to work. ;) Yes, the busy holiday season has already started for me with all the parties.

Only 19 Trick or Treaters this year. We get fewer each year. We live in the older part of town. I think Families tend to stay in their own neighborhoods. Very few small children live close.

The parents of country kids take their kids to town to trick or treat as the country households are few and far between. While the parents of kids in the older neighborhood take them to the newer and more well to do neighborhoods for their plundering. :woot:woot

Nyboy, I'm tired now. This morning's breakfast with my girl friend and her mom who I just love was awesome. The only thing is we decided to go shopping afterwards. We got lost but were determined to find the new store. So I got home hours later than what I intended! Next Sunday is breakfast with 3 other provider friends. We have been getting together once a month for the last 14 years or so. It used to be dinner but had to change to breakfast because of schedule changes.

We had about 1900 kids come through the Truck-o-treat event at church!!! We've been collecting candy for weeks and still had to send someone down to the Foodlion to get more!
